Other Than All That…

So apart from trying to figure out my entire life here’s what else has been going on.

I did a week where I tested my body’s pH balance, to see if I was on the right track internally, and it was interesting. Here’s how it came out.

That spike on Monday is where I ate a while big bag of Tyrells salt and vinegar crisps (they’re so bloody moreish, what can I say?). Threw my whole system out of whack for a day or two. Very bizarre. I mean I didn’t feel bad, but obviously internally strange things were going on. FYI: 6-7.5 is about what you’re looking for in terms of a healthy pH).

I won the lotto the other day too. Check it out!

Only 4 balls, £51, but still, it’s the most I’ve ever won on it. Won’t quite get me the lifestyle I want, but it’ll at least buy me some new underwear, lol.

And I participated in Rakka’s Icepo Project, as mentioned in a previous post.

icepo meets icepo

I only mention it here because it’s inspired me to do a little art project of my own. It’s a bit of a slow burner, and one I won’t go into too much detail about here (yet). But once the next participant has done their bit I promise a full reveal.

Until then… 😉

30 Days of Kiki : day 18

day 18- plans/dreams/goals you have

Just two right now, to write, and to cook.

Now this moustache thing is coming to a close (a grand total of £427:77 so far!) I want to spend all my spare time working on the new writing project I’ve just started, before I lose the impetus and move on to something else.

Then once I’ve finished with this 30 Days of… project I’m going to spend a month doing lots of new recipes and blogging them. I haven’t done enough cooking recently and it’s starting to bug me. I feel like I’m falling behind.

Other than that my dreams are still the same, to live free and prosper. Nuff said really.

30 Days of Kiki : day 12

day 12- how you found out about blogging and why you do one

I already knew about blogging before I started one, not having lived in a cave for the past century, but what made me think it’d be a good way to get things moving was the movie Julie & Julia. I caught it on a flight to Hong Kong last year (12 hours, I had to watch something) and it seemed like a good idea. I even read the book when I got back, and that was interesting too, so one night when I had nothing to do and nothing going on I went for it.

Unfortunately, as well as being the catalyst, I also think it was the reason I got caught up in trying to do some kind of stunt blog. Hence the reason that in eight months my blog hasn’t yielded any tangible results in the direction it was meant to. But hopefully I’ve dealt with that now and we can move on to more interesting times.
